Toph was surprised for a moment that the other female showed no signs of being angry in return. Usually, her brusqueness had a tendency of being met with displeasure, or at the very least, timidness. It was actually a nice change to know that she bumped into someone who seemed perfectly okay with her attitude, at least at first, anyway.
“I wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings, I haven’t been here before”
Still gazing off as if into space, Toph quietly contemplated the other’s apology for a brief moment. Well, she seemed nice, motherly even, which wasn’t really so bad. Toph just hoped that she wasn’t as fussy as Katara, though. Things could get dirty (pun completely intended) fast.
“Well, if my earthbending could work here, this wouldn’t have happened, anyway,” the twelve year old muttered under her breath, scratching at the back of her head idly.
Tilting her gaze even further, towards what she supposed the sky would be, she let out another sigh. It was really, really annoying having to walk around like someone completely blind. It was just like back before she learned earthbending from the badgermoles. Great.
“But yeah, I’m fine. Care to tell me where I am, lady?”
Much as she hated to admit it, Toph could use a bit of a crutch, here. She didn’t know where she was, first of all, and secondly, she was completely blind in this location. It couldn’t hurt to have someone else around, even if her pride was hurt a bit in the process. Yeah, for now Toph would just have to suck it up and follow this mystery lady around.
“Oh yeah, forgot to say, my name’s Toph.”
She waited patiently as the girl seemed to be contemplating something. Maybe her apologetic manner had surprised her somewhat? Usually people would get riled up after bumping into someone, but she knew it had been her fault. Plus she wasn’t the confrontational type unless she was forced to be, no point causing fights when they weren’t necessary. Sure Aqua could probably be considered ‘motherly’ sometimes she treated Ven as such, of course Terra was more on par with her age so not as much. Though he wouldn’t escape a lecture if the two of them started playing up during training.

“Earthbending?” She questioned not having heard that term before. “Is that some form of magic?” Terra tended to use earth based attacks and magic so maybe it was similar? It was evident by now that the young girl was blind, what had she meant by ‘this wouldn’t have happened’? Puzzled the keyblade wielder. “Thats right magic or any other abilities don’t function well inside the city” she explained though not an inconvenience for Aqua, obviously it was for this girl. She smiled lightly as the young girl introduced herself as Toph, an odd name but from what little she’d gathered about her it seemed to suit her pretty well. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Toph, I’m Aqua” she answered back, hand placed on her chest with a slight inclination of her head. “This world is called Arcadios, I presume this city, Polis is sort of like the capital” she informed, Toph must be a new comer, as such she hoped she took the information well.
